Replacement fans for Ziehl-Abegg
Sigrist manufactures like-for-like replacements for Ziehl-Abegg fans. We are an Australian fan manufacturer in Richlands, Brisbane, and we have been building replacements for other manufacturers’ units for more than 35 years. Send us what is on the rating plate and we will quote the equivalent we make.
What we need from you
One photo of the rating plate is usually enough. If the plate is missing, painted over or unreadable, a photo of the fan and the opening it sits in will get us most of the way.
- The model number and any other codes on the plate
- Motor rating in kW, speed, phase and voltage
- Diameter, and the size of the opening or upstand it mounts on
- Whether it is exhaust or supply, and whether it is smoke-spill rated
Start here — pick the picture that looks like your fan, or call 07 3271 4415 and read us the plate.
What we would replace it with
Ziehl-Abegg makes centrifugal and axial fans. Depending on the duty and the physical fit, the equivalent normally comes from one of these Sigrist ranges:
- AIT — adjustable axial inline tube, 315mm to 2000mm, including car park supply and exhaust duty
- AST — fixed axial straight tube
- ACP — fixed axial circle plate and ASP — square plate
- PA-TE — plate mount axial
- Axial roof fans and cowls, exhaust and supply, low, mid and high profile
- CIC and CII — centrifugal inline
- Centrifugal roof fans, commercial, industrial and enterprise
- IM and SIM — inline mixed flow, including quiet kits
- Wall-mounted axial
- Ceiling extractors
- Replacement impellers and replacement fan motors
A code match is a starting point, not a specification
Fans are replaced on duty and physical fit, not on the code alone. The same code can cover different blade counts, pitch angles, motor ratings and speeds. We use the code to find the family, then confirm the selection against the duty before quoting.
What we do not make
So we do not waste your time: Sigrist does not currently manufacture jet fans or induction fans for car park ventilation, HVLS destratification fans, or VAV diffusers and controls. A jet fan range is in development. Car parks ventilated by ducted axial fans are work we do today, and that is the more common arrangement.
Made here, supplied Australia-wide
Fans are built to order at Richlands and supplied across Australia. Sigrist is a manufacturer, not a service agent: we do not attend site. If you need someone to remove the old unit and fit the new one, that is work for your mechanical services contractor, and we are happy to supply them directly.
Sigrist is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a distributor for Ziehl-Abegg. Ziehl-Abegg and its model designations are the property of their owner and are referred to here only to identify the equipment being replaced.
